DID YOU KNOW?? The A-Team van, a 1983 GMC Vandura, is an iconic pop culture symbol, known for its red stripe, black and red turbine mag wheels, and rooftop spoiler. It was used by the A-Team throughout the show. During the show's run, a total of eight customized 1983 G-Series GMC Vandura vans were used, with two serving as the primary hero versions for close-ups and casual driving scenes, and the rest for stunt driving. Some vans were older models that were used for extreme stunts, including submersion scenes and jumps. And one of the six officially licensed vans was actually driven by Mr. T around the country... appearing at car shows and other promotional events!
And today... on PLANET FIREBALL... The Ball visits Lucasfilm in San Francisco and meets up with MASTER YODA! He was a bit stiff, but good conversation! Also, Fireball's Birthday Celebration is happening at WHEELS AND WAVES on April 6th IN CHANNEL ISLANDS!! DON'T MISS IT!
