Gene Winfield, legendary custom car builder and SEMA Hall of Famer, famously built the flying police cars ("Spinners") for the movie "Blade Runner" and also worked on vehicles for other films and TV shows like "RoboCop" and "Star Trek." Winfield built 25 vehicles for "Blade Runner," including the iconic flying police cars known as "spinners," based on the designs by Syd Mead. He also created vehicles for "Sleeper," "RoboCop," "The Last Starfighter," and TV series like "The Man from U.N.C.L.E!"
