DID YOU KNOW?? The 1981 James Bond film "For Your Eyes Only" features a memorable car chase with an unassuming Citroën 2CV, which included some clever movie magic to make it exciting. The standard 2CV was far too slow for a Bond chase scene. So, for the movie, the cars were fitted with more powerful flat-four engines from a Citroën GS, more than doubling the original horsepower. Multiple cars were built for the sequence. One of the 2CVs used for the more dangerous stunts was equipped with a roll cage for safety and actor Roger Moore said that of all the cars he drove in the Bond series, the Citroën 2CV was his favorite!
