Today’s BONUS Custom Car Art SKETCHES blanket a lot of Kulture… And, as I always say when people ask me “What’s your favorite CAR??” … “It’s the one with four wheels, baby!”
FIRST UP is the BUGATTI CHIRON. A serious Hypercar with a serious $1.5M price tag. “I’ll take two please, with a side of fries. But hold the Dooshbaggery.”
Hypercars are stunning peices of CAR ART in themselves and I’ve drawn a lot of them. But as I SKETCH, I try to get into the heads of the original designers to flush out their initial inspiration for the direction of the design. And that can tell me a lot for how I approach the background. Should I make this one available on a CANVAS PRINT? You let me know.
SECOND is this stunning 1950 FORD WOODIE WAGON that was the cover art for my Woodie Coloring Book. It belongs to friend Rick White and is aptly named RUBY. If you’re in the Socal/Ventura area, you’ll see Rick pokin’ about town.
THIRDLY… and from the set of James Bond’s DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER… the 1971 FORD MUSTANG MACH 1. This is in the Garage here and will be followed by a lot of other sketched Jimmy Bond Cars. And he’s had A LOT. But which one should I do next??
Don’t forget that MUSCLES & MOJO is TOMORROW!! C’mon down!
