DID YOU KNOW?? The 11-minute car chase in the 1968 film "Bullitt" is considered one of the most iconic in movie history, featuring McQueen's character, Lt. Frank Bullitt, in his Mustang chasing hitmen in a Dodge Charger. There were actually three Mustangs used in the movie, with chassis numbers 558, 559, and 560. Chassis 558 was severely damaged during filming and was sent to a scrapyard, but was later discovered in Mexico and restored. Chassis 559, arguably the most famous Mustang in the world, sold for $3.7 million in 2020! A new "Bullitt" film is in the works, produced by Steven Spielberg, with Bradley Cooper starring.
