DID YOU KNOW?? Dan Aykroyd came up with the idea for GHOSTBUSTERS after reading an article about parapsychology and quantum physics, and watching movies like Ghost Chasers. His original idea was to set the movie in the future, with an army of Ghostbusters fighting ghosts. In October of '24, director Gil Kenan confirmed that a sequel is in development!! Kenan and Jason Reitman have also discussed ideas for other future films in the franchise... including expanding on the Mini-Pufts storyline.
