Buff Tuesday and Welcome to AUTOMOTIVE POP CULTURE! Today features Fireball's new "CHiPs" BIKE ART for those that loved chasing down nere-do-wells weekly on the Classic TV Show. Ponch and Jon did their best in DTLA to rid the streets of crime... and now you can do it with a MUGSHOT!!
DID YOU KNOW?? CHiPs was filmed in the Los Angeles area, including back roads and sometimes on almost-completed freeways. The show also featured real-life CHP officers donating blood for injured officers in the line of duty. Bruce Jenner, now Caitlyn Jenner, briefly replaced Larry Wilcox as Jon Baker after a salary dispute. In the early episodes, Ponch's probationary status with Jon as his supervisor was used to explain why the two officers were riding in pairs.
