LOTUS SUB MASTERPRINT, Audi, Driving Ecto & a '55 Batmobile!

Today, to match Fireball's Aston DB5, we launch the James Bond 007 LOTUS SUBMARINE MASTERPRINT!! This one is Hot! (Or maybe we should say "cool" seeing as how... well, you get what we're sayin...') But check out the NEW SHIRTS and MORE too!!

DID YOU KNOW?? It was built by Perry Oceanographic, Inc. of Riviera Beach, Florida...specifically for the film, using a Lotus Esprit S1 body (shell only) for about $100,000 at the time. The wedge shape of the Esprit is designed to provide downforce, which would cause the submarine to dive. And it did! The sub dis not maintain a dry interior, and was a WET SUB that requires occupants to don scuba gear. The undesirable force was compensated for by fins placed where the wheels would be in a conventional Esprit and required a crew of two to operate. It has four electric motors that allowed forward motion only. The interior had no resemblance to that of a car, being just a platform for the scuba divers, and the equipment used to operate, drive, and power the sub. Ahhh... Movie making.

Plus, Fireball SKETCHES and '82 AUDI for a Client, scoots the ECTO 1 through the Valley Neib and reminds us that although there were never any films with BATMAN in the 50's... there shoulda been, and this is BATGIRL 55! CHECK OUT HER STORY HERE and then head into the Garage!

Today's BEST OF SHOW will keep you lookin' dapper with a CHROME BMW! No distraction there, folks... WATCH!
