Mod Squad Dodge Challenger Concept Art by Fireball Tim Garage

MOD SQUAD, Pacer, Porsche and Big Dog Leno cruise the Garage

Today, Fireball launches a new MOD SQUAD MASTERPRINT and more! Although they did a rather unsuccessful remake of the original classic TV Series that ran for five seasons on ABC from September 24, 1968 to March 1, 1973, the CARS of the show were cool. Number one being this 1971 DODGE CHALLENGER Convertible in Light Gold. Check out the cool selection!

Introduced in the autumn of 1969 for the 1970 model year, the Challenger was one of two Chrysler E-body cars, the other being the slightly smaller Plymouth Barracuda. 383-cu.in. Chrysler built 27,377 Dodge Challengers for 1971, including only 1,857 convertibles, of which 167 were equipped with the 383 Magnum engine and 41 of those also came with a four-speed manual.
