The culprit responsible for starting the CB Craze in the 70's and 80's was a show that only lasted 2 years... and it was BJ AND THE BEAR. BJ and the Bear was an Action Comedy series that aired on NBC from February 1979 to May 1981. Created by Glen Larson, the series starred Greg Evigan and was produced when the CB Radio and Trucking craze had peaked in the United States.
Following the series were films like MOVIN' ON, WHITE LINE FEVER, SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT and EVERY WHICH WAY BY LOOSE. The show really set a trend and now the Kenworth K100 is IN THE GARAGE with an all-new Fireball MASTERPRINT!
Also featured is Fireball's Back the Future Vette which is a stable here in the Garage it seems. Turning EVERYTHING into Time Machines! Plus a Wacky Sketch called BIG SKY RACER! Should Fireball do a Wacky Book?
Today's BEST OF SHOW were several BORGWARDS spotted in the Wild!!
The BORGWARD ISABELLA was manufactured from 1954 to 1962 and was to have been marketed as the Borgward Hansa 1500, but the Isabella name was used on test vehicles and proved popular with engineering staff and media. The production car was subsequently renamed and only the first few hundred examples were built without Isabella badging. Hansa badging was also used through to 1957.
