DID YOU KNOW?? Speed Racer's Mach 5 was primarily based on three automobiles... the race cars Ferrari 250 Testarossa and Ford GT40 and OO7's weapon-equipped Aston Martin. Mach Five was designed by Mitsuki Nakamura, who was the art director of Tatsunoko Productions, which produced the 1967 TV anime series.
