Today's Blast launches with an all-new KOJAK MASTERPRINT featuring Telly Savales' BUICK CENTURY NYC Police Cruiser from the show! And if you didn't think the series was all that popular...
DID YOU KNOW?? Kojak was Queen Elizabeth's favorite TV show by the time the late British monarch met Savalas at a 1976 state dinner thrown by then-U.S. President Gerald Ford. “Certainly, the royal family are keen television watchers,” a British Embassy spokesperson told The Washington Post in 1983. But in 1978, CBS canceled Kojak amid faltering ratings. The actor however reprised the role in two TV movies for CBS — 1985’s "The Belarus File" and 1987’s "The Price of Justice" — and five more for ABC. And Kojak was even bumped up to inspector status!
Also in today's blast is some BOSOZOKU love with Fireball's Jakarta Sketch, BEST OF SHOW shots from last weekend's CAMARILLO CRUISE-IN and another Wacky Sketch from the Master... THE STEAM NUTTER! (Check out all of 'em so far on Pinterest!) How else do you think they get those Nuts off??
BEST OF SHOW?? A super gorgeous 1925 ROLLS ROYCE gets discovered by the Mayor of Malibu, Paul Grisanti.
Fireball is in full swing now with CAR SHOW SAFARI, ART TALK LIVE and WHEELS & WAVES... only 1 week away!!
