BUT DID YOU KNOW?? Mike Connors (Joe Mannix) performed his own stunts on the series. During the filming of the pilot episode, he broke his wrist and dislocated his shoulder. But, today, Mannix is considered a defining moment in television history, setting a standard for crime drama series. And his favorite saying? "If nothing else, just do the right thing."
