For a period of time through the early 2000’s, I really got into the new MINI COOPER. I had an 18Ksqft shop in Torrance, Ca where we built some amazing cars for clients (including MINIUSA), drove the MINI TAKES THE STATES and I designed literally hundreds of variations.
The MINI was a great pallet being a small package with potentially big power. And it lent itself to many design themes, fun driving experience and applications on the track. The only thing I’ve designed more of are Movie and TV Cars, but I even wrote a script that was a combination of Fast and Furious and Italian Job. But with hundreds vs a few. Fun times.
Today, we celebrate the MINI in the Garage as it builds larger and larger. Also in the EBAY STORE. I’ll be adding more every week for those that have a MINI and would like some inspiration to create something unique for their cars. Commissions are open as well if you need help, but grab a Mug or Canvas and get your Groove on!
DID YOU KNOW?? Fashion Designer Mary Quant borrowed the idea of the original Alec Issigonis designed Mini to come up with the MINI SKIRT! People associated the skirt with the car and her brand blew up!
